We’re throwing the quirkiest bash of the season to kick off the cricketing festivities. Mark your calendars for March 20, 2025, because you won’t want to miss this!
What’s Happening?
Venue: Torquay & Kingskerswell Clubhouse
Time: 7 PM till late (yes, we said late!)
Put on your most splendid cricket attire, or come dressed as your favourite cricket hero (no judgement on your take on “quaint” fashion here)!
Highlights of the Night:
Epic Quiz: Test your cricket knowledge! Will you know who scored the first century in T20? Prizes for the oddest answers!
Barmy Bingo: Cricket-themed bingo with a twist – and yes, there’ll be shout-outs for the weirdest excuses for 'missing a match'.
Bowler's Banter: Join us for some hilarious tales and cheeky anecdotes from our seasoned players - you're guaranteed a chuckle!
Food & Drink
A feast fit for kings (and queens) of the pitch:
Savoury pies, jacket potatoes, and various nibbles.
Quirky cocktails like “The Wicket Keeper” and “Silly Mid-Off Shore".
Don’t fret, there will be plenty of softies for those who aren't ready for the Bollywood-style dance-off after a couple too many "Bowler’s Bollocks"!
Special Guest Appearance
We’re thrilled to announce a surprise guest that'll pop in to share some legendary cricket tales and a few secrets to their bowling tricks! Hint: They’ve dazzled the field and might have a catchy tune up their sleeve!
